About Us
Pink Kat began many years ago through a love of Japanese packaging and all things bright, plastic and kitsch. We basically created a job for ourselves that involved playing with toys and working in fashion!
We eventually ended up on a great pitch in Camden market (after a series of terrible craft market attempts) where we traded successfully for a couple of years and built up an excellent customer base (apart from those people who spilt chocolate sauce on our white t shirts!) At this point we tried our hand at selling wholesale direct to shops, this was far more successful than expected and led to us supplying stores around the world, and to a busy concession in the flagship Topshop store.
Robot Shop has now been in Camden for 4 years. We only house products we like - allowing us to introduce new members into the Pink Kat family such as Peachy Peach and expand on older ones such as Pink Kat menswear. We are a young and small enterprising company that believe in supplying our much loved customers with well designed and well made products at affordable and un-inflated prices. All our own brands are created by us in London.
